On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude to the people of Arunachal Pradesh for their support of the BJP in the recent local body elections. The party achieved significant success, winning over 6,000 out of 8,208 seats for village council members in the northeastern state. Additionally, the BJP secured 170 out of 245 seats for district council members.


In a post on social media platform 'X', Modi remarked, "The people of Arunachal Pradesh have shown unwavering support for the politics of good governance." He further stated, "I thank the citizens for the affection they have shown towards the BJP. This strengthens our resolve to continue working for change in the state."
