PM Modi Addresses Gathering After Inauguration

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 103 Amrit Bharat stations in Bikaner, Rajasthan, and addressed a public gathering. He expressed that he came seeking blessings from Karni Mata, emphasizing that with her grace, their commitment to building a developed India would be even stronger. Modi highlighted that a significant effort is underway to create modern infrastructure across the nation. Over the past 11 years, unprecedented progress has been made to modernize roads, airports, railways, and railway stations. The expenditure on infrastructure projects has increased sixfold compared to previous years.


Modernization of India's Railway Network

Modi remarked that the world is astonished by the ongoing development projects in India. The country is also modernizing its train network, with Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, and Namo Bharat trains symbolizing the new pace and progress of the nation. Currently, Vande Bharat trains operate on approximately 70 routes, bringing modern rail services to remote areas. In the last 11 years, hundreds of road overbridges and underbridges have been constructed, along with over 34,000 kilometers of new tracks laid.


Modernization of Railway Stations

He clearly stated that over 1,300 railway stations across the country are being modernized, referred to as Amrit Bharat stations. More than 100 of these stations are now ready. Modi noted that the mantra of 'Development and Heritage' is vividly reflected in these Amrit Bharat railway stations, which also symbolize local art and culture.


New Initiatives for Rajasthan's Development

Earlier today, a new train to Mumbai was flagged off from this location. Additionally, several health, water, and electricity-related projects were inaugurated and laid out. The aim of these initiatives is to ensure rapid development in both urban and rural areas of Rajasthan, providing better opportunities for the youth in their hometowns. The double-engine government is also working swiftly for the industrial development of Rajasthan, with new industrial policies introduced by the Bhajanlal government for various sectors. Bikaner will benefit from these new policies.
