In the 122nd episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a significant message regarding Operation Sindoor. He emphasized, "The entire nation stands united against terrorism, and everyone is eager to eradicate it. Our armed forces have effectively dismantled terrorist camps across the border. Operation Sindoor symbolizes a transforming India, filled with patriotic fervor." He pointed out that this operation transcends mere military action.

He stated, "Operation Sindoor is not merely a military mission; it represents our resolve, courage, and the evolving image of India, which has filled the nation with a sense of patriotism, coloring it in the hues of our flag." The Prime Minister shared how the operation inspired a wave of patriotism across the country, leading to numerous flag rallies. He noted, "In many cities, towns, and villages, flag rallies were organized, with thousands expressing their respect for the armed forces by holding the tricolor high."
Modi remarked, "The impact of Operation Sindoor has been so profound that many families have incorporated it into their lives. In places like Katihar in Bihar and Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh, children born during this time have been named 'Sindoor.'"
He praised the bravery and skill of the soldiers, as well as the use of indigenous technology, stating, "Our soldiers successfully destroyed terrorist hideouts; their indomitable courage, combined with the strength of domestically produced weapons and technology, played a crucial role."
Following Operation Sindoor, Modi noted a renewed emphasis on 'Vocal for Local,' which has inspired many. He shared a parent's comment: "We will now only buy toys made in India for our children. Patriotism will begin from childhood."
He added, "It has been said, 'Every gift we give will be made by an Indian artisan.'" In addition to discussing the growth of Asiatic lions in Gir, he shared encouraging news about wildlife conservation, stating, "In just the last five years, the lion population in Gujarat's Gir has increased from 674 to 891. The census results are very promising."
Discussing Maoism and development in Gadchiroli, he mentioned, "The people of Katejhari village in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district have been waiting for this day for years. Buses could never reach here before due to Maoist violence. When the bus finally arrived, the villagers welcomed it with drums and music."
On the topic of sports in Bihar, PM Modi highlighted the state's growing significance in India's sports landscape, referring to it as 'special.' He noted, "Five cities in Bihar hosted the Khelo India Games, and participants appreciated the hospitality there."
Focusing on women's empowerment through technology, he remarked, "In Sangareddy district of Telangana, women who once depended on others are now using drones to spray pesticides over 50 acres of land. These women are now recognized not just as 'drone operators' but as 'sky warriors.'"
The Prime Minister also celebrated the talent of the Northeast during the 'Rising North East Summit' and 'Ashtalakshmi Mahotsav,' sharing the story of Dr. Chewang Norbu Bhutia, a veterinarian from Sikkim who started 'Crafted Fibers.' He has provided skill training to locals, helping them become self-reliant.
Lastly, he spoke about the inspiring story of 65-year-old Jeevan Joshi from Haldwani, Uttarakhand, who, despite losing strength in his legs to polio in childhood, created a unique art form called 'Baget' from wood that others deemed useless. This wood transforms into heritage in his hands, sometimes resembling traditional mountain instruments, embodying the spirit of the mountains.
