In a recent address in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed pride in the decisive actions taken against terrorists, stating that the fear among their leaders has increased significantly. During discussions on Operation Sindoor, he emphasized that the armed forces were given full authority to determine the timing and method of their operations. Modi stated, "We take pride in the punishment meted out to terrorists, which has left their masterminds restless even today." He reiterated his commitment made on April 22, asserting that the goal is to eliminate terrorism completely, with consequences for their leaders that would exceed their imagination.
India's Strategic Military Actions
Modi further elaborated on the military actions taken on the night of May 6, which were executed as planned, leaving Pakistan unable to respond effectively. He noted that within just 22 minutes, the Indian forces avenged the events of April 22 with precision. The Prime Minister asserted that India has demonstrated that it will not succumb to nuclear blackmail, claiming significant damage to Pakistan's airbases and assets, many of which are reportedly in critical condition today.
Destruction of Terrorist Bases
He highlighted the destruction of terrorist hideouts in Pakistan, stating that it was beyond imagination that such operations could be conducted. Areas like Bahawalpur and Muridke have been devastated. Modi emphasized that India has debunked Pakistan's nuclear threats, proving that nuclear blackmail will no longer be tolerated. He also pointed out that India's technological capabilities have been showcased through precise strikes against Pakistan.
The Era of Technology-Based Warfare
The Prime Minister reiterated that significant damage has been inflicted on Pakistan's airbases and assets, many of which are currently in critical condition. He remarked that we are in an era of technology-driven warfare, and had the preparations made over the past decade not been in place, the potential losses could have been substantial. Lastly, he noted that Operation Sindoor has marked the world's recognition of India's self-reliance, with domestically produced drones and missiles exposing the vulnerabilities of Pakistan's weapon systems.
