Modi's Commitment to Farmers

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that his government's various initiatives over the past 11 years have significantly enhanced the prosperity of farmers and transformed the agricultural sector. He shared on social media that previously, farmers often had to borrow for even minor needs, but thanks to the decisions made by his administration, their lives have become much easier. Initiatives like the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and the crop insurance scheme have been pivotal in improving their welfare. Continuous increases in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) have ensured that farmers receive fair prices for their produce, leading to an increase in their income.

Focus on Agricultural Development

Modi expressed that serving hardworking farmers is a privilege. He noted that the various initiatives undertaken in the last 11 years have not only promoted farmers' prosperity but also ensured comprehensive changes in agriculture. The government has prioritized issues such as soil health and irrigation, which have proven beneficial. He assured that efforts for farmer welfare will continue with even greater enthusiasm in the future.

Upcoming Visit to Odisha

Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha on June 20 to participate in a grand event marking the first anniversary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in the state.
