Piyush Goyal Criticizes Tamil Nadu Government, Calls for Political Change
Central Minister's Strong Remarks Against DMK
On Monday, Central Minister Piyush Goyal made a strong statement in Chennai, condemning the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government for its alleged corruption and detrimental impact on the people of Tamil Nadu. Speaking to the media, he asserted that the DMK is a corrupt administration that must be removed, emphasizing that it has been harmful to the citizens of the state. He warned that if the public mistakenly votes for the DMK in the upcoming elections, Udhayanidhi Stalin could become the Chief Minister. Goyal stressed that it is time for the NDA government to take charge and serve the people of Tamil Nadu.
Criticism of DMK's Governance
Goyal criticized the DMK for failing to implement central government schemes and accused Chief Minister M.K. Stalin of attempting to divide the nation. He stated, "We are one country, and both the central and state governments must collaborate. Policies and programs should be executed together. Why are they not implementing all central schemes? We have approved funding and railway lines, but they are not providing land. How can we execute railway projects without land from the state government? We take pride in being Indian, and the people of Tamil Nadu will not accept Stalin's attempts to divide the country."
Appeal for Support for NDA
The central minister urged voters in Tamil Nadu to support the NDA government led by AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami, expressing confidence in a political shift. He appealed to the people, saying, "I request my brothers and sisters in Tamil Nadu to give us a chance to form the NDA government. I believe this time there will be a change in Tamil Nadu. The Bharatiya Janata Party is an integral part of the NDA, and under Edappadi K. Palaniswami's leadership, the NDA government will be established in Tamil Nadu."
Allegations Against Chief Minister
Goyal also accused Stalin of misleading and inciting the people of Tamil Nadu with false allegations, claiming that the Chief Minister has been consistently making untrue statements. He remarked that the people of Tamil Nadu have already determined Stalin's defeat, which is why he resorts to making false claims daily. Unfortunately, he is unable to respond to any of my questions, leaving him with no option but to confuse and incite the people of Tamil Nadu.
