Pincky, who previously won a silver medal in the 2018 Asian Games, achieved India's third medal in this sport, losing to the 2026 Asian Championships gold medalist Sumin with a score of 0-5.

Throughout the semifinal, Pincky struggled, receiving an early warning. She managed to score a 'chala' (half point/throw), but Sumin converted it into a 'yonbosh' (full point, just shy of an instant win) after another warning, which led to Pincky receiving a 'dakki' (two warnings, one away from disqualification). Ultimately, she had to settle for a bronze medal.

Pincky's journey to the semifinal was marked by her victory over South Korea's Lim Garam, where she won the women's 78 kg quarterfinal with a score of 3-0, securing India's third medal in Kurash at the Asian Games.
