Challenges in Pawan Singh and Jyoti Singh's Marriage
The marital life of Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh and his wife Jyoti Singh is currently facing significant challenges. A divorce case is underway in court, with Pawan seeking to end the relationship while Jyoti is striving to salvage it.
Clarifying the Alimony Demand
Recently, there have been various reports regarding Jyoti's demand for ₹10 crores in alimony. Jyoti has now addressed these rumors, revealing the truth about her situation and how their relationship began to deteriorate.
In a podcast with Surya Bhai, Jyoti shared that she resides in Patna with her parents. She expressed that she made every effort to save their relationship, but it ultimately failed.
Jyoti's Continued Affection for Pawan
When asked if she still loves Pawan, Jyoti responded, "He is my husband, and there’s no question of moving on. In our culture and family, a husband is revered."
Details on the Alimony Request
Reports have circulated that Jyoti has requested ₹10 crores from Pawan. Discussing this, she confirmed there is some truth to it but clarified the context.
She explained, "He has always stated he doesn’t want to stay together, but I wish to. When he refused, I asked for ₹3 crores for my support. He disagreed, offering only ₹50 lakhs, which I argued is insufficient in today’s economy."
Reasons Behind the ₹10 Crore Demand
Jyoti further elaborated, "₹50 lakhs isn’t even enough for a house. It took him eight years to agree to give me ₹3 crores. I then approached the court for ₹10 crores to prolong the case for 15 years. I don’t intend to remarry, nor will I allow him to."
Relationship Decline During COVID
Jyoti revealed that their relationship began to falter during the COVID pandemic, particularly around Diwali. She recounted, "He visited our home during Diwali, and I asked him to take me with him. People were talking, and I wanted to know if he truly wanted to be with me."
Influence of External Factors
Jyoti believes that people around Pawan provoke him, and he often succumbs to their influence without considering what is right or wrong.
