Bus Accident in Khurda District

On Sunday afternoon, a passenger bus overturned on National Highway (NH)-16 in Khurda district, Odisha, resulting in injuries to at least seven individuals, according to police reports.


The bus was en route from Bhubaneswar to Aska in Ganjam district, carrying over 40 passengers. Authorities stated that the vehicle flipped near Pitaapalli after the driver lost control.


Local residents assisted in transporting the injured to the Khurda district headquarters hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, police confirmed that there have been no fatalities reported from this incident, and an investigation has been initiated.
