Parliament Monsoon Session LIVE Updates: The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have resumed their sessions for the fifth consecutive day on Friday. Opposition parties have consistently demanded discussions regarding the revision exercise, submitting adjournment motions daily since the session commenced.
Protests have erupted at the Parliament steps from the beginning of the session, with opposition members accusing the government of using the revision exercise for voter manipulation and the deletion of votes ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
In Bihar, Rashtriya Janata Dal leaders Tejashwi Yadav and MP Manoj Jha have indicated that there could be discussions about a potential poll boycott. Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has joined forces with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, DMK MP Kanimozhi, and Congress leaders Manickam Tagore and KC Venugopal in the protests over the past few days.
