Political Tensions Rise Outside Parliament

New Delhi: On Thursday, Members of Parliament from both the ruling party and the opposition engaged in vocal protests outside the Parliament, indicating a likely continuation of disruptions in both houses regarding the NEET paper leak controversy.

Numerous MPs from both factions gathered at the Makar Dwar entrance of Parliament, chanting slogans directed at each other.

Ruling party members accused the opposition of politicizing the NEET issue, shouting phrases like 'sharam karo, sharam karo' and 'Vande Mataram'. Meanwhile, the opposition INDIA bloc called for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The opposition's chants included demands such as 'Isteefa do', 'gaddi chhodo', and 'sharam karo' aimed at the NDA government.

Prominent figures like Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with other Congress MPs, displayed a large banner demanding Pradhan's resignation.

Later, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, and other leaders from the INDIA bloc joined the protest outside Parliament.

Prior to the session, Rahul Gandhi and Yadav convened with other INDIA bloc leaders to strategize their protest actions.

While the opposition maintained its call for Pradhan's resignation, NDA MPs insisted that the NEET issue should be addressed in Parliament, accusing the opposition of avoiding debate.
