Outstanding Achievement by Anaita Sharma

Anaita Sharma, a student from Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Palampur, has made her region proud by clinching the fourth position in the Arts stream of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) Class 12 results for 2025, announced on Saturday.


She achieved an impressive score of 478 out of 500, translating to 95.6%. Born on November 25, 2006, Anaita is the daughter of Ashok Kumar Sharma and resides in Bharwana village, Palampur.


The HPBOSE released the Class 12 annual examination results on May 17, 2025, revealing an overall pass rate of 83.16%. Notably, female students excelled, significantly outpacing their male counterparts in the merit rankings.


The announcement was made in the presence of Hemraj Bairwa, the Deputy Commissioner of Kangra and Chairman of HPBOSE, alongside Board Secretary Dr. Vishal Sharma.


Out of the 75 students who made it to the top-10 merit list, 61 were girls, showcasing the remarkable academic achievements of female students in the state.
