Palampur MLA Ashish Butail Unveils New Mahila Mandal Building in Padra Village

On Monday, July 14, 2025, Ashish Butail, the Congress MLA representing Palampur in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, officially opened the newly built Jagriti Mahila Mandal facility located in Padra village, Hangloh panchayat. The construction of this building was completed at an approximate cost of ₹5 lakh.
During the inauguration, the MLA expressed his congratulations to the local community, highlighting that the Mahila Mandal building is set to significantly enhance women's participation in social, cultural, and creative endeavors. He reiterated his commitment to the comprehensive development of the Palampur constituency, assuring residents of his unwavering dedication to this mission.
He also promised that the legitimate requests made by the panchayat would be addressed in a systematic manner. Furthermore, he announced a grant of ₹20,000 to the Mahila Mandal for the acquisition of essential items.
Emphasizing the critical role of road infrastructure in regional development, he shared details about a road project connecting Gajreda to Daadh village, estimated at ₹3.75 crore, and another road from Upper Bagauda to Gugga Temple, projected to cost around ₹4 crore. The necessary estimates have been prepared and submitted for approval.
While visiting, the MLA took the time to listen to public concerns, resolving many issues on the spot and instructing relevant departments to promptly tackle the remaining matters.
