Pakistan's Leadership Faces Backlash Amid Rising Tensions with India

Political Turmoil in Pakistan
New Delhi: The government and military of Pakistan are currently facing significant criticism from both the public and lawmakers following their inability to effectively counter India, resulting in a loss of credibility on the international stage due to their overt support for terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif experienced considerable humiliation when a member of Parliament publicly accused him of 'cowardice', claiming he was unable to confront Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A video capturing the lawmaker's remarks has gained traction on social media, attracting numerous likes and comments.
In the footage, the MP states, 'The Prime Minister of Pakistan is a coward; he can't even mention Narendra Modi's name.'
This comment was made during a parliamentary session, shortly after the Pakistani military attempted to launch missiles and drones at India, which ultimately failed to achieve any of its objectives.
This incident marks yet another occasion where the Prime Minister has come under fire from the public.
Recently, Sharif faced ridicule from citizens following a press conference where he addressed India's strikes on multiple targets within Pakistan.
Many social media users criticized his 'weak' demeanor and body language.
'PM Shahbaz appears insecure and frail; it's not a good look,' remarked a user on X.
On Thursday, a Pakistani parliamentarian drew national attention as he sought divine intervention for the safety of citizens amid escalating tensions with India.
Tahir Iqbal, visibly shaken, broke down while discussing the Indian strikes, his voice quivering and gestures reflecting fear and anxiety.
In his address to the House, he expressed, 'I pray that Allah safeguards the people of Pakistan.'
