Neeraj Chopra's Absence Explained
There has been much speculation regarding the absence of India's star javelin thrower, Neeraj Chopra, from the Asian Championship. Chopra opted out of this event after competing in the Diamond League and the Janusz Kusocinski Memorial, where he finished second in both. Notably, he recently broke the 90-meter mark for the first time in the Diamond League. Nadeem had previously outperformed Chopra at the Paris Olympics, where he won gold with a throw of 92.97 meters, while Chopra managed 89.45 meters.
