Pakistani Intruder Detained Along LoC Amid Rising Tensions

Intruder Apprehended in Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu: Officials reported the capture of a 26-year-old man from Pakistan along the Line of Control in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
This incident occurred during a period of heightened diplomatic tensions between India and Pakistan, characterized by frequent ceasefire breaches following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, primarily tourists.
The individual, identified as Waqas from Tarkhal village in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), was apprehended by vigilant army personnel in a forward area of Chakan-Da-Bagh shortly after he crossed into Indian territory.
Initial investigations indicated that Waqas had crossed the LoC unintentionally from his village, according to officials.
At the time of his arrest, no incriminating evidence was found on him.
