Choosing to bat first, Pakistan's openers Muneeba Ali and Shawaal Zulfiqar managed to put together a modest 27-run partnership. However, the innings quickly deteriorated as the Indian bowlers unleashed a relentless attack, leading to Pakistan's collapse for a mere 55 runs in 18.1 overs. Muneeba Ali and Shawaal Zulfiqar started cautiously, with Zulfiqar taking two overs to hit her first boundary. In the third over, a dropped catch by Pratika Rawal off Kranti Gaud's bowling gave Muneeba a vital second chance.
