Ceasefire Breach by Pakistan

Despite the recent announcement of a ceasefire, Pakistan has reportedly violated it today. Drones from Pakistan have been spotted within Indian territory, prompting a stern response from the Ministry of External Affairs. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated that Pakistan's actions constitute a serious breach of the ceasefire and have undermined trust. He urged Pakistan to take this matter seriously and confirmed that the military has been given clear instructions for a retaliatory response.

Response to Ongoing Violations

Vikram Misri elaborated, saying, "A consensus was reached this evening to halt military actions between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMO) of India and Pakistan. However, in the past few hours, Pakistan has been violating this agreement. The Indian Army is responding and addressing this incursion at the border. Such intrusions are highly condemnable, and Pakistan is to blame for them. We believe Pakistan must properly understand this situation and take immediate corrective measures to prevent further incursions." He added that the armed forces are maintaining strict vigilance and have been instructed to respond firmly to any recurrence of border violations along both the international border and the Line of Control.
