Pakistan's T20I Squad for Upcoming Series
Pakistan has unveiled a 15-member team for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, scheduled to take place in Karachi from May 12 to 15.
Currently, Pakistan leads the ongoing ODI series against Zimbabwe with a commanding 2-0 advantage, while the third ODI is in progress in Karachi, as reported by the ICC.
Key Players and World Cup Preparations
Fatima Sana will lead the T20I squad, with notable new additions including uncapped players Amber Kainat and Saira Jabeen. Amber showcased her talent in the recent National Women's T20 Tournament, where she took 11 wickets across eight matches. Saira has previously been part of Pakistan's T20I team during the South Africa tour.
The squad also includes seasoned players such as Aliya Riaz, Muneeba Ali, and Sadia Iqbal, as Pakistan gears up for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup starting on June 12. Additionally, experienced players Sidra Amin and Diana Baig are listed as reserves. Sadaf Shamas, who has been Pakistan's top run-scorer in the ongoing ODI series with scores of 99 and 101, is also among the reserves.
