Ceasefire Agreement Announced
The government of Pakistan announced on Saturday that it has reached out to India, resulting in an agreement to cease hostilities. This confirmation comes after several days of military tensions and escalating conflict between the two neighboring countries. Following the ceasefire agreement, a press conference was held featuring Commodore Raghu R. Nair, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Colonel Sofia Qureshi. Colonel Qureshi stated that Pakistan falsely claimed to have damaged India's S400 and BrahMos missile bases using their JF 17 aircraft, which is entirely inaccurate. Furthermore, they propagated misinformation regarding damage to airports in Sirsa, Jammu, Pathankot, Bhatinda, Naliya, and Bhuj, which is also completely untrue.
Clarifications on Misinformation
Colonel Sofia Qureshi further elaborated that according to Pakistan's misinformation campaign, their ammunition depots in Chandigarh and Vyas were reportedly damaged, which is also entirely false. Pakistan has made baseless accusations that the Indian Army has harmed mosques. I want to clarify that India is a secular nation, and our military is a beautiful reflection of India's constitutional values. Commodore Raghu R. Nair stated that an agreement has been reached to halt all military activities across sea, air, and land. The Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force have been instructed to adhere to this agreement.
Commitment to National Sovereignty
Raghu R. Nair emphasized that the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force are committed to upholding the sovereignty and integrity of the motherland and are fully prepared and vigilant. Any provocation from Pakistan will be met with strength. In the future, decisive responses will be given whenever tensions escalate. We are ready to initiate any operations necessary to defend the nation. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh stated that with utmost respect, our operations specifically target terrorist camps and establishments involved in anti-India activities. The armed forces of India have not targeted any religious sites.
