Owaisi's Strong Words Against the Government

Asaduddin Owaisi, the president of AIMIM and a Member of Parliament, expressed his discontent with the central government on Thursday, accusing it of disrespecting the youth and failing to acknowledge its mistakes. Speaking to a news outlet, Owaisi stated that the government tends to overlook young people and avoids engaging in dialogue with them. He remarked, "You invite young children and keep them at home for two hours without talking to them, instead humiliating them. You need to learn how to communicate with them. This situation is a result of your actions, that is, the government's actions."

Government's Blame Game and Opposition's Response

Owaisi also criticized the government for blaming the opposition for various crises, urging them to stop the blame game and admit their own faults. He questioned, "Why are you blaming the opposition for what is happening? You should acknowledge your mistakes, which you are not doing. You seem to think that your majority allows you to suppress us, but that will not happen. You are underestimating the situation."

Protests Erupt in Parliament Over Exam Paper Leak

Earlier on Thursday, several opposition members staged a protest near the Makar Dwar in the Parliament complex, demanding the dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan amid nationwide protests regarding exam paper leaks. Tensions flared between NDA and INDIA alliance MPs as both sides demonstrated on different issues at Makar Dwar. Prominent leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Akhilesh Yadav participated in the INDIA bloc's protest, while NDA MPs organized a counter-protest in response.

Response to Fast-Track Courts Proposal

In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tweet about establishing fast-track courts for those involved in the paper leak, Congress MP Rajeev Shukla commented that such courts would yield little benefit. He emphasized that the first step should be to punish the senior officials responsible, as has been demanded. The establishment of fast-track courts would be a subsequent measure, given that those involved could easily secure bail.
