Major Wins at the Oscars


At the recent Academy Awards held in Beverly Hills, California, Paul Thomas Anderson's film One Battle After Another was awarded Best Picture. The film triumphed over strong contenders such as Sinners by Ryan Coogler, The Secret Agent by Kleber Mendonca Filho, Hamnet by Chloe Zhao, and Marty Supreme by Josh Safdie.


Despite being a favorite, Sinners ended up with four awards after receiving a record 16 nominations, the highest for any film in Oscar history.


Anderson also secured the Best Director accolade, expressing gratitude and acknowledging the hard work that goes into achieving such recognition. He remarked, “There will always be some doubt in your heart that you deserve it, but there is no question at pleasure having it for myself.”
