Opposition Parties Demand Fair Investigation into Ayodhya Temple Donations
Opposition Protests in Parliament Over Allegations
New Delhi, August 4 - On Tuesday, members of the Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP), and several other opposition parties staged a protest within the Parliament premises. They called for a thorough investigation into the alleged misappropriation of donations made by devotees at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, as well as addressing the actions taken against students in various states.
Gathered near the Makar Gate of the Parliament building, the opposition MPs raised slogans against the government while holding placards. They chanted phrases like, 'Where will we find the donation thieves? At the BJP office,' 'Donation thieves, step down,' and 'Amit Shah, answer us.'
The protesting MPs emphasized the need for an impartial inquiry into the alleged theft of donations at the Ram Temple and insisted on strict action against those responsible. Additionally, they voiced their opposition to police actions taken against students protesting irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and demanded a response from Home Minister Amit Shah.
