Opposition Demonstration Against Voter List Revision

Members of the opposition coalition known as the 'Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance' (INDIA) staged a protest on Wednesday in the Parliament complex against the special intensive revision of the voter list in Bihar.


The demonstration took place near the 'Makar Dwar' of Parliament and saw participation from prominent figures such as Sonia Gandhi, the leader of the Congress parliamentary party, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with MPs from the Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal, and several other parties.


Protesters carried a large banner reading 'SIR - An Attack on Democracy' and chanted slogans demanding the withdrawal of the special intensive revision. They insisted that this issue should be discussed in Parliament.
