Jaipur: On Wednesday, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi announced that Operation Sindoor remains active, with vigilant monitoring of enemy activities.
During an investiture ceremony at the South Western Command in Jaipur, he detailed how the Army, Navy, and Air Force collaboratively targeted nine terrorist camps and their infrastructure in Pakistan, accomplishing this in a swift 22 minutes.
General Dwivedi emphasized that Operation Sindoor is still in progress, with a continuous watch on enemy movements.
He noted that following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, a decisive strategy was established at the highest levels of command, leading to significant military action.
The operation showcased India's operational excellence, compelling Pakistan to agree to a ceasefire within 88 hours, highlighting the Indian Army's commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty and interests.
