A Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism

Pune: Pragati Jagdale, whose husband Santosh was among the 26 victims of the Pahalgam terrorist incident, expressed her gratitude for 'Operation Sindoor', viewing it as a meaningful homage to those lost.

Jagdale stated, "Operation Sindoor has honored the memory of those who perished in the Pahalgam attack. I am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for initiating this operation. It shows that our feelings have been acknowledged. While terrorists took away our sindoor, I am elated that our forces have successfully targeted their bases in Pakistan through this operation."

She had faith that India would retaliate for the Pahalgam attack.

Asavari Jagdale, their daughter, noted that India acted swiftly, responding to the terror attack within just 15 days.

"I am immensely proud and thankful that our armed forces delivered a strong response through airstrikes," she remarked.

Sangita Ganbote, whose husband Kaustubh was also a victim of the April 22 attack, shared her relief and happiness over India's retaliation. She expressed, "We were all eager to see how India would respond to the terrorist act. With Operation Sindoor, the Indian armed forces have provided a strong answer to the cowardly assault in Pahalgam."

The operation specifically targeted the terror strongholds of the banned groups Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen, with the Indian Air Force striking nine hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, according to officials.
