Investigation Status of Zubeen Garg's Case
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) announced on Friday that the investigation into the death of Zubeen Garg is still ongoing, and they currently do not suspect any foul play. According to their statement, the investigation report will be submitted in accordance with the Singapore Coroners Act of 2010. They further indicated that based on the findings of this report, the state coroner will conduct a coroner's inquiry (CI), which is scheduled for January and February 2026.

Earlier, on December 12, the Assam Police's Special Investigation Team (SIT) filed a charge sheet against seven accused individuals in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate in Kamrup, Guwahati, under various sections. The main charge sheet consists of approximately 2,500 pages, with supporting documents totaling around 12,000 pages. The court has scheduled the next hearing for December 22. In connection with this case, the SIT/CID has arrested seven individuals, including the main event organizer Shyamkanu Mahanta, Zubeen Garg's manager Siddharth Sharma, band member Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, co-singer Amritprava Mahanta, Zubeen's cousin Sandipan Garg, and two personal security officers, Nandeshwar Bora and Paresh Baishya.
