One Year of Operation Sindoor: A Testament to India's Military Resolve

Today marks the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, a moment for the entire nation to honor the valor of our armed forces. Leaders including the President, Prime Minister, Defence Minister, Home Minister, and various Chief Ministers and Governors have expressed their admiration for the military's bravery while reaffirming India's unwavering stance against terrorism. In a significant gesture, the Indian Armed Forces released a special video at precisely 1:05 AM, the same time Operation Sindoor commenced on May 7, 2025. The Indian Air Force accompanied the video with a powerful message: “Justice has been served. Precision in action, immortal in memory—Operation Sindoor continues. India forgets nothing, forgives no one.” This statement underscores that India is not merely issuing warnings against terrorism but is prepared to take decisive action.

This operation was initiated following a devastating terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians. In response, India conducted precise airstrikes on terrorist bases located in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. Key targets included the headquarters of Jaish in Bahawalpur, a Lashkar base in Muridke, and various terrorist infrastructures in Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Kotli, and Bhimber, resulting in the elimination of at least 100 terrorists.
