Meeting with Prime Minister Modi
On Thursday, Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to discuss several significant issues, including the restoration of statehood for Jammu and Kashmir. This meeting comes amid increasing demands from various political parties for the central government to make a swift decision regarding the state's status. He requested additional rail services to accommodate travelers during this period, as air traffic is expected to be affected.

Responding to the ongoing conflict in West Asia and the potential global fuel crisis, he noted that India's situation is comparatively better than that of many other countries.
