Revised Admission Schedule for Odisha's Undergraduate Programs

Bhubaneswar: In light of the recent flooding that has impacted various districts in Odisha, the Higher Education Department has updated the Phase-I undergraduate admission timeline for the 2026-27 academic year, providing students with extra time to finalize their admissions, as reported on Tuesday.

According to the revised schedule, candidates who have been allocated seats in the third and final selection round will have until 5 pm on August 5 to complete their admission procedures at their respective institutions. Colleges are required to verify and upload the admission information onto the e-Space portal by 9 pm on the same day.

This updated timeline applies to all Plus III degree programs available through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS), which includes courses offered at public universities, as well as government, aided, unaided, and law colleges throughout Odisha.

Details regarding the Phase-II admissions schedule will be announced at a later date.

The extension aims to ensure that students impacted by the recent floods do not miss out on their chance to secure admission due to disruptions caused by the severe weather.
