Major Developments on the Horizon for Boudh

Boudh: On Sunday, Odisha's Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced the upcoming inauguration of a 300-bed hospital and a new bus terminal in Boudh.

During his visit to the district, Majhi assessed the progress of various development initiatives currently in progress. He noted that the construction of a new railway station building in Boudh is nearing completion.

The Chief Minister highlighted the advancements made in several developmental projects, including road and bridge construction, drinking water supply systems, and improvements in education and health infrastructure within the district.

Majhi urged the district administration to accelerate the pace of ongoing projects that are lagging behind schedule to ensure timely completion.

He emphasized that there should be no compromise on the quality of work, instructing officials to enhance the inspection processes to maintain high standards.

Recognizing the importance of local community involvement in development efforts, Majhi encouraged officials to engage with residents about the projects and seek their feedback. This approach, he believes, will enhance transparency and make the initiatives more community-focused.

The Chief Minister also directed the district administration to collaborate with the state government to address any obstacles hindering project execution in Boudh, promising his personal intervention if necessary.

Additionally, he advised officials to prioritize sectors such as education, health, sports, and agriculture, suggesting they formulate a comprehensive action plan.

"Our primary objective is to uphold transparency in all government initiatives and projects. Officials must ensure that public funds are utilized effectively, allowing citizens to reap the benefits. Any irregularities will be addressed promptly," he stated.

Later, CM Majhi participated in the 'Sindoor Yatra,' a procession held in Sarsara panchayat to celebrate the successful Operation Sindoor conducted by the Indian armed forces against terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
