COVID-19 Update from Odisha


On Monday, officials from the health department in Odisha announced an increase of four new COVID-19 cases. Currently, there are 34 active cases, while 15 individuals have successfully recovered from the virus.


In light of the upcoming Rath Yatra on June 27, the health department has urged individuals exhibiting COVID-like symptoms to refrain from visiting Puri.


Additionally, Nityananda Gond, the Minister for School and Mass Education, confirmed that schools will implement COVID-19 safety protocols when they reopen on June 20 following the summer break.
