Bhubaneswar: In the past week, Odisha has recorded 23 new COVID-19 infections, as reported by health officials on Wednesday.
During this timeframe, a total of 546 samples were analyzed, revealing 23 positive cases.
Out of these, four individuals have successfully recovered, while 19 others are currently managing their treatment at home.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) indicated on Tuesday that the detected cases are linked to the Omicron sub-variant, which is noted for its low severity.
The ICMR has recommended that individuals with pre-existing health conditions remain vigilant and adhere to essential health guidelines.
