Condolences from Odisha's Leadership


Bhubaneswar: The Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, expressed their sorrow over the passing of Daulal Vaishnaw, the father of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.


Daulal Vaishnaw passed away at 11:52 AM at AIIMS Jodhpur after battling a serious illness for several days.


In a heartfelt message on X, Majhi shared, "I am deeply saddened and heartbroken to hear about the passing of the revered father of Honorable Union Railway Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw, Shri Dau Lal Vaishnav. I pray that Lord Jagannath grants peace to the departed soul and provides strength to Ashwini ji and his family to bear this sorrow."





The Governor added, "May the departed soul attain Sadgati, and I pray to Mahaprabhu Jagannath to grant strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss."


Naveen Patnaik, the Leader of the Opposition, also conveyed his condolences.





He further stated, "My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family members and friends during this hour of grief."





Ashwini Vaishnaw serves as a Rajya Sabha MP representing Odisha.
