New Deadline for PG Entrance Test Applications


Bhubaneswar: The deadline for submitting applications for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) has been pushed back to March 18, as announced by the Odisha Higher Education Department.


Previously, the cutoff date was set for March 15. Students now have until 11:45 PM on March 18 to complete their applications via the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal.


This extension was made to accommodate students' needs, according to officials.


The CPET is essential for those seeking admission to postgraduate programs for the academic year 2026–27 at various universities and colleges throughout Odisha.


As per the timetable, the entrance exams for different postgraduate disciplines are scheduled to take place from April 27 to May 10. Admission will be determined based on candidates' performance in the entrance examination.
