Forecast of Heavy Rain in Odisha

Bhubaneswar is set to experience significant rainfall over the next four days due to a low-pressure system developing over the Bay of Bengal, as reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

This low-pressure area formed early Sunday morning and is anticipated to evolve into a depression within the next 24 hours, making landfall along the coasts of south Odisha and north Andhra Pradesh by the morning of August 19.

As a result, various regions across Odisha are expected to face heavy downpours for the next few days.

On Monday, districts such as Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Nuapada are likely to experience intense rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms.
