MCA's Vision for the New League

At the launch event, MCA President Ajinkya Naik elaborated on the initiative behind the T20 League. He stated, "The primary goal is to create a platform for both male and female cricketers, which will enhance the performance of Mumbai cricketers. This marks a new chapter in their careers."

A Pathway to IPL and National Representation

Naik further discussed how the league could serve as a stepping stone to prestigious platforms like the IPL and the Indian national team. He noted, "Our main aim is to identify talented players for the Mumbai team. If they excel in BCCI tournaments, they will undoubtedly find their way into the Indian team and the IPL."

Historic Women's League: A Progressive Step

The launch of the women's league is a significant milestone for the MCA, which Naik described as a progressive initiative. He remarked, "We are thrilled to introduce the women's T20 league.
