Nursing Students Host Effective Communication Program for Hospitalized Children
Innovative Nursing Education Initiative in Jaipur
Jaipur. A continuing nursing education program titled "Effective Communication with Hospitalized Children" was organized at the auditorium of JK Lone Hospital by B.Sc. and M.Sc. nursing students from IGNOU. Neelam Nawaria, the program coordinator, shared that the nursing students effectively presented the topic using a projector and role play, receiving appreciation from senior nursing officials present in the auditorium.

The chief guest of the event was Dr. R.N. Sehra, with Neelam Nawaria serving as the special guest, and the program was chaired by Samta Soni, the program in-charge from IGNOU, along with Ramesh Jangid, the acting principal of GCON.
This was the first "Continuing Nursing Education" program organized since Neelam Nawaria took over as nursing superintendent. The primary aim is to keep in-service nursing officers updated with the latest nursing education, which can directly and indirectly benefit patients and their families. The event was guided by Dr. Ashok Yadav and Pramod Kumar Khedia in pediatric nursing, with several senior nursing officers in attendance.
