Local MLA to Honor Outstanding Students

Local MLA Ranbir Nikka to be chief guest at event to honour meritorious students

DHARAMSHALA: The stage is prepared in Nurpur for the Shining Star Awards 3.0, scheduled for Thursday, June 12, 2025. This event will celebrate the achievements of exceptional Class 10 and Class 12 students. Following successful ceremonies in Chamba and Dharamshala, this marks the inaugural event in Nurpur, chosen for its educational significance and academic institutions.



Ranbir Singh Nikka, the BJP MLA from Nurpur, will be the Chief Guest at the ceremony. The awards will take place at the banquet hall of Jyoti Hotel and Restaurant located in Kandwal, Nurpur. Students achieving 85% or higher in their Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations across all boards and streams will be recognized.



The awards aim to honor students not only for their academic success but also for their resilience and dedication in a highly competitive landscape.

Dharamshala, Chamba events set high benchmark


The ceremonies held in Chamba and Dharamshala attracted a vibrant crowd of students, parents, educators, and dignitaries. The Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Mukesh Agnihotri, attended the Dharamshala event as the chief guest, while Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania was present in Chamba.
