Today, the Nurpur Police District convened its monthly crime review and police welfare meeting, led by Superintendent of Police (SP) Shri Kulbhushan Verma. The gathering included all gazetted officers, Station House Officers (SHOs), and the heads of police posts throughout the district.


Emphasis on Police Welfare

During the welfare segment, the SP highlighted the necessity of addressing the personal issues of police staff, the challenges they encounter while on duty, and various departmental concerns. He assured attendees that these matters would be prioritized to improve efficiency and uplift the morale of the police force.


Crime Review and Directives

To bolster law enforcement, the SP provided SHOs with stringent directives:



  • Awareness Campaigns: SHOs were instructed to initiate special awareness programs in panchayats, schools, and colleges to inform the youth about the dangers of drug abuse and the threats posed by cybercrime.

  • Drug Prevention: Emphasis was placed on thorough investigations of NDPS cases, financial inquiries, and strict enforcement under PIT NDPS.

  • Law & Order: Officers were tasked with ensuring the swift resolution of outstanding cases and taking decisive action against illegal mining activities.


Recognition of Outstanding Service

Several police personnel were acknowledged for their exceptional service:



  • Indora Police Station was awarded the title of the cleanest and most organized station in the district.

  • ASI Suresh Kumar from the SP Office, Nurpur, was honored as Employee of the Month for his commitment.

  • Officers and staff who excelled in their field duties received certificates of appreciation.
