Arrest of Proclaimed Offender in Nurpur


Nurpur Police have successfully apprehended a proclaimed offender related to a long-standing case registered at the Indora Police Station.

The case involves FIR No. 152/2012 dated 23.05.2012, which falls under Section 379 IPC and Sections 41, 42 of the Indian Forest Act, at the Indora Police Station in the Kangra District. The individual arrested, Sukhwinder Singh, son of Tarsem Singh, hailing from village Mand Sanoar, Post Office Sanoar, Tehsil Indora, District Kangra (HP), aged approximately 43 years, had previously been declared a proclaimed offender by the Hon’ble Court.


On 07.03.2026, a dedicated team from Nurpur Police executed the operation leading to the arrest of this proclaimed offender.
