Ajit Doval's Vision for a Developed India
Ajit Doval, the National Security Advisor, expressed on Friday that India is on track to become a developed nation, driven by the pace set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, even if the process unfolds automatically. Speaking at the 'Developed India Youth Leaders Dialogue' in the national capital, he urged the youth to enhance their decision-making skills, emphasizing that empowered and timely decisions are crucial for leading the country across various sectors.
Doval remarked, 'I have forgotten my childhood, and your childhood has changed so much that I am unaware of many things. However, one thing remains constant between us: whether in my youth or now, I have observed that your ability to make decisions is always with you... India will undoubtedly develop. It will progress at the same pace and speed that Prime Minister Modi has established, even if this process occurs automatically.'
He further questioned, 'Who will lead this developed India? How capable will they be?' According to Doval, the greatest strength of a leader lies in making the right decisions. Leaders must make timely choices and implement them with full confidence and determination. Therefore, if you aspire to be a leader in a developed India, whether in science, technology, or security, you must start developing your decision-making abilities now.'
Doval highlighted that the true strength of a nation lies in its willpower, stating that wars are fought not for violence but to break the enemy's morale. He praised India's leadership for guiding the country towards rapid progress over the past decade through unwavering commitment, hard work, and dedication. 'You can enhance your willpower. That willpower becomes national strength. Why do we fight wars? We are not sadists who derive pleasure from seeing the enemy's corpses and dismembered bodies. Wars are fought to break a nation's morale, compelling it to surrender to our will and accept our terms, allowing us to achieve our goals... Wars are fought for the nation's willpower.'
Doval concluded by urging the audience to observe the ongoing wars and conflicts, noting that some nations seek to impose their will on others through force. He stated, 'If you are powerful enough that no one can oppose you, you will always remain free. However, if you possess everything but lack morale, all your weapons and resources will be futile, which requires strong leadership. Today, we are fortunate to have such leadership in our country. A leadership that has transformed the nation from where it was ten years ago to its current state, propelling it towards rapid progress. Their commitment, hard work, and complete dedication serve as an inspiration for all of us.'
