Police Operation in Noida

In Noida, Uttar Pradesh, law enforcement officials have successfully dismantled a gang involved in vehicle theft, leading to the arrest of five individuals. Authorities seized a total of 21 two-wheelers during the operation, as reported by a police official on Thursday.


Yamuna Prasad, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone One), stated that the Sector 113 police acted on a tip-off early Thursday morning, apprehending the suspects: Mohit Singh (19), Omveer Kumar (19), Akash Singh (21), Rohit Kumar (28), and Anand Kumar (23).


Prasad further revealed that, based on the information provided by the arrested individuals, police recovered 19 stolen motorcycles and two scooters from various locations. He noted that these suspects have a history of previous incarcerations.


During the interrogation, it was uncovered that the gang was involved in stealing vehicles from the National Capital Region (NCR) and subsequently creating fake documents to sell them.
