Nitin Nawin Backs Neeraj Kumar Sinha for Bankipur By-Election

As the Bankipur assembly by-election approaches, former Bankipur MLA and BJP National President Nitin Nawin has expressed his confidence in the party's candidate, Neeraj Kumar Sinha. Nawin described Sinha as a "dedicated worker" and expressed hope that he would earn the trust and blessings of the local populace. Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Nawin stated, "I stand with the people of my area because, as a worker and former MLA, I am accountable to them. I am pleased that the BJP has given a chance to a mandal president to serve the people of Bankipur. I hope that the party worker contesting from here will receive the blessings of the people and serve them well."

Nawin, who has served as an MLA from Bankipur four times, recalled his experiences and credited his success to the support of the local community. He remarked, "I have spent 20 years working alongside the people of this area. By sharing in their joys and sorrows, I have learned to work with them and advance our initiatives. I always say that it is the workers and the public of my constituency who have taught me how to work, and if I have reached this position today, it is due to their blessings and love."

Highlighting Sinha's dedication to the community, Nawin noted that he is a young individual known for his commitment as a worker. He stands by everyone during challenging times. Although Sinha may not have a large personal profile, his impact in the area where he works is significant. The by-election in Bankipur is taking place due to Nitin Nawin's resignation from the Bihar Assembly after being elected to the Rajya Sabha in March. The BJP has announced Neeraj Kumar Sinha as its candidate, replacing Abhishek Kumar Sinha, who withdrew for personal reasons.

Following the announcement on Friday, Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi congratulated Neeraj Kumar Sinha at the party office in Patna. Expressing his gratitude, Sinha said, "I am very happy. I am thankful to the top leadership, state president, our leader Nitin Nawin, as well as Amit Shah and Narendra Modi. I appreciate all of them. I started as a booth minister; I have served twice as a mandal president and also worked as the district vice president of the youth wing. I am confident of a significant victory. Working together with party workers and the general public—who will shower their blessings in the Bankipur constituency—we will succeed. People will vote based on the work done by our leadership."
