Nitin Nabin's Historic Bihar Visit
The newly elected National Executive President of the BJP, Nitin Nabin, is set to embark on his first visit to Bihar after assuming his role. On Tuesday, Bihar BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi emphasized the significance of this visit, stating, "Today, history will be made." In a conversation with a news agency, Sarawagi expressed that this day holds great importance for both Bihar and the state BJP unit, marking a historic moment as their national executive president returns home. BJP workers from across the state are gathering in Patna to extend a warm welcome to their leader.
During his visit, Nitin Nabin will participate in various party events and engage with party workers and elected representatives. This marks his first trip to the state since being appointed as the national executive president. At just 45 years old, Nabin is the youngest individual to hold this position in the party's history and also serves as the Minister of Road Construction in the Bihar cabinet.
According to a party statement, on the first day of his visit, Nabin will pay his respects at the renowned Hanuman Temple located in Rajbanshi Nagar, Patna, at 1:05 PM.
Following this, he will lay floral tributes at the statue of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on Beli Road at 1:50 PM, and then at 2:00 PM, he will honor the statue of Loknayak Jay Prakash Narayan at the Income Tax Roundabout. A welcome and felicitation ceremony in his honor will take place at Miller High School on Veerchand Patel Marg at 2:15 PM, where he will address the gathering. In the evening, he is scheduled to meet with Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan at 4:00 PM, followed by a crucial meeting with BJP MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and state party officials at the Atal Auditorium in the party office at 7:30 PM.
On December 14, the BJP appointed Nitin Nabin as the National Executive President, symbolizing a significant generational shift within the party leadership. According to BJP sources, his selection aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a developed India by 2047. The party leadership aims to ensure that by 2047, when India is expected to become a developed nation, it will have a mature and experienced leadership in place. To this end, the party has already begun preparing young leaders for future roles.
