Nitin Nabin Assumes New Role at BJP Headquarters

New Delhi, Dec 15: Nitin Nabin, recently appointed as the national working president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), arrived at the party headquarters on Monday to officially take on his new role, accompanied by several senior party leaders.

He landed at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi from Patna in the afternoon, just a day after his appointment.

Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta along with other BJP officials.

Notable figures present at the party headquarters included BJP president and Union Health Minister J P Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

At 45 years old, Nabin, who is a minister in the Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in Bihar, was appointed as the national working president of the BJP on Sunday. His appointment is seen as a potential step towards succeeding Nadda as the national president, indicating a generational transition within the party.

Nabin is the son of the late BJP leader and former MLA Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha. Party leaders describe him as dynamic, ideologically grounded, and deeply dedicated to the organization.

He has a background with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and has served as a five-time MLA, representing the Bankipur Assembly constituency in Patna. Additionally, he has held ministerial positions in the Bihar government.

His previous roles, including his tenure as a minister and his leadership in Chhattisgarh, have been marked by effective organizational skills, according to party leaders.

The BJP parliamentary board selected Nabin for this position, and he currently serves as the Public Works Department (PWD) minister in Bihar.
