Nitin Gadkari Urges BJP Workers to Secure Nagpur's Next Mayor
Call to Action for Local BJP Workers
On Saturday, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari urged local members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to ensure that the next mayor of Nagpur is from their party. Speaking at a gathering of the BJP Youth Front ahead of the municipal elections scheduled for January 15 in Maharashtra, he emphasized the unique nature of the BJP.
As a senior BJP leader representing Nagpur in the Lok Sabha, Gadkari remarked that the developmental initiatives undertaken by the party-led government in the city thus far are merely a preview, suggesting that the main event is yet to unfold.
The Minister of Road Transport and Highways expressed confidence that a BJP-led municipal corporation would transform Nagpur into one of the most beautiful and best cities, not just in India, but globally.
