Gadkari Praises Election Performance

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari extended his congratulations to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and party workers as trends indicate a lead for the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance in the elections for 29 local bodies, including the BMC in Maharashtra.


In a post on 'X', Gadkari expressed confidence that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Fadnavis, Maharashtra's journey towards progress will gain even more momentum.


He commended Fadnavis, Shinde, state BJP president Ravindra Chavan, state revenue minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and all party workers for the impressive performance of the BJP and Shiv Sena in the municipal elections.


Gadkari expressed gratitude to the people of the state for placing their trust in the BJP-led Mahayuti, prioritizing development. He noted that this victory will further accelerate the Mahayuti government's efforts, which are already advancing rapidly on the path of development.


He stated, 'I am confident that with the guidance of Prime Minister Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Fadnavis, Maharashtra's journey towards progress will be strengthened even further.' Voting for the elections in 29 municipalities took place on Thursday, with vote counting commencing on Friday morning and continuing as this report was being prepared.
