Nikki Bella's WWE Return Sparks Controversy Amid Domestic Dispute Allegations
Nikki Bella's Comeback to WWE Raises Eyebrows
Nikki Bella's return to Monday Night Raw coincides with the WWE's premium live event, Evolution, but not everyone is thrilled. The WWE Hall of Famer has faced significant personal challenges during her time away from the ring, including a divorce from Artem Chigvintsev and allegations of domestic violence against both parties.
In response to Bella's comeback, former WWE star Odyssey Jones expressed his concerns on X/Twitter, highlighting a perceived double standard in how the WWE manages talent involved in domestic disputes. Jones was released from the WWE a few months prior due to similar allegations.
With Bella's return to WWE television amidst these controversies, Jones tweeted, "So it’s not the situation it’s just the person involved. NOTED!"

Reports indicate that Artem Chigvintsev sought an order of protection against Bella, alleging aggressive behavior during a violent incident. His attorney claimed that had Bella been truthful, Chigvintsev might not have faced arrest that night.
Nikki Bella Addresses Divorce Allegations
In a recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast, Bella defended herself against accusations made online following her divorce, asserting that she has been truthful throughout the ordeal. She stated, "Where I have a hard time—and I was like, ‘I’m going to kill this sht’—is just how everyone’s making it like I’m guilty. I lost. I was a liar. I haven’t lied about one thing, and I’m going to just make that clear. I have not lied about one thing."
Bella initiated the divorce after Chigvintsev's arrest related to a domestic battery incident on August 29. However, the Napa County District Attorney's office later chose not to prosecute him. The couple eventually reached a mutual settlement to finalize their divorce without a court trial.
