NIA Uncovers Key Evidence in Pahalgam Terror Attack Investigation

Significant Developments in Pahalgam Terror Case
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has compiled a considerable amount of evidence concerning the identities of the terrorists linked to the Pahalgam terror incident, according to an official statement.
This evidence encompasses eyewitness testimonies from victims, video recordings, technical data, and sketches provided by the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Currently, all gathered evidence is under thorough examination, and no definitive conclusions have been reached. The identities and additional details will be disclosed at an appropriate time.
On June 23, a court in Jammu granted the NIA a five-day remand for two suspects associated with the attack.
The suspects have been identified as Parvaiz Ahmad and Bashir Ahmed, with the next hearing scheduled for June 27, 2025.

BJP leader Shazia Ilmi expressed her belief that more details regarding the conspiracy, including logistics and intelligence, would soon come to light.
Ilmi stated, “Following Operation Sindoor, we have consistently observed our agencies, particularly the NIA, making arrests to reveal the truth. The attack on our nation and its daughters is both shocking and scandalous. I anticipate that significant information regarding the conspiracy will surface.”
A total of 26 individuals, primarily tourists, lost their lives in a horrific terrorist attack in the Baisaran meadow of Pahalgam valley on April 22. The NIA announced on Sunday that two individuals have been apprehended for providing shelter to the terrorists.
The NIA reported that the arrested suspects, Parvaiz Ahmad Jothar from Batkote and Bashir Ahmad Jothar from Hill Park in Pahalgam, have revealed the identities of three armed terrorists involved in the attack, confirming their affiliation with the banned terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and their Pakistani nationality.
According to the NIA, “Parvaiz and Bashir knowingly sheltered the three armed terrorists in a seasonal hut at Hill Park prior to the attack. They provided food, shelter, and logistical support to the terrorists, who selectively targeted tourists based on their religious identity, making this one of the most brutal terrorist attacks in recent history.”
